General Admission Requirements

• All students can apply for membership in Tækniskólinn.
• Students are requested to enrol in one of the schools in respective of interests of each individual.
• The Schools of Technical College Reykjavík are variable and there do not apply the same rules for enrolment in all of them.
• Each school has its rules of enrolment.
• To limit the selection of students it´s guided by ratings on school tests, particularly in mathematics, science, English and Icelandic, attendance, other studies, and / or other relevant factors.
• Those that have not ratified grade from elementary school can get help to achieve those sectors.

Evening school

It is expected that students in evening schools are not younger than 18 years at the end of the first studies.

School of Master Craftsmanship

To start the School of Master Craftsmanship, student must have completed a journeyman examination in the trade.
