Mid-Term Evaluation

In every semester there takes place a mid-term evaluation in Technical College Reykjavík. Students answer questions about the teaching in variouscourses and teachers give students evidence of their status for each phase separately. Testimony is based primarily on the assessment already carried out in the course.

The mid-term evaluation is given in the letter:
A = good. The student does extremely well.
B = OK. The student has a grasp of the material but may not enter relaxation.
C = inadequate. The student needs to get himself in order to achieve phase.
X = No basis to give evidence.

It is important to remind that the point with this evaluation is to help the students. The Students whom get C should seek help from a teacher or counsellor to plan their studies in the course. Those receiving B are encouraged to enter with no relaxation, and preferably to improve further. Those who get A are encouraged to continue on the same path.
