Dear students and guardians

In light of the red weather warning that came into effect now at 4:00 pm, classes were canceled today Wednesday from 2:25 pm (including evening school and ,,klúbbakvöld“) and the school is now closed.

Tomorrow morning, another red weather warning comes into effect at 8:00 and currently lasts until 12:00. Classes are therefore canceled until noon (lunchtime) tomorrow Thursday and the school will be closed in the meantime. Tomorrow morning we will reassess the situation and send you a message through e-mail and SMS regarding classes in the afternoon.

When I send you an e-mail like this, I send it via inna and at the same time an SMS message. However, the system can be slow when many are attempting to send messages to a big group of people at once, so don’t be alarmed if the SMS arrives quite a bit later than the e-mail. It is therefore important that you not only rely on SMS but also monitor your e-mail.
