New Student Trip

At the start of each school year, NST (The stu­dent body council) org­an­izes a trip for new stu­dents to introduce the school’s social life to them and give them a chance to get to know each other through various acti­vities and games.

This year we will be visiting Stokks­eyri where NST is offering different works­hops for example zorb football (Bubble ball), kajaking and game workshop. Students at Hafnarfjörður and Háteigsvegur are going to Stokkseyri on August 26th, but students at Skólavörðuholt September 3nd.

 

Schedule

08:45 – Arrive at lobby in Skólavörðuholt

09:15 – Buses depart from schools

10:15 – The group arrives at Stokkseyri and students are divided into groups

12:00 – Hot dogs for lunch

12:45 -Workshops continue

15:00 – Buses leave for the return trip

16:00 – Estimated return

*No one is forced to take part in any acti­vities they don’t want to.

 

Ticket Prices and leave from classes

All stu­dents that take part in the trip will get leave from their classes for the day. Other stu­dents have to attend their classes as scheduled.
