Technical College graduation spring term 2026.

The graduation ceremony for the spring semester of 2026 will take place on Saturday, May 30th in Harpa. There will be two ceremonies this time. The first ceremony will begin at 11:00 and the second ceremony at 14:00, and both ceremonies will take place in Silfurberg. Graduates should arrive 45 minutes before the ceremony begins.
Graduates are allocated a seat at the ceremony, and each school graduates one programme at a time. Seating for guests is unassigned, but each student is permitted to invite two guests to the ceremony. Neat attire is required. A link to the live stream of the graduation will be published on the school’s website on 30 May.
Here are a few practical things students need to know:
Students in the first ceremony should arrive at 10:15 and the ceremony is estimated to last 1,5 hours.
First ceremony – 11:00

- School of Building and Construction Trades
- School of Design and Handicraft
Students in the second ceremony should arrive at 13:15 and the ceremony is estimated to last 1.5 hours.
Second ceremony – 14:00
- School of Electrical Technology
- School of Marine Engineering
- School of Navigation
- School of Information Technology
- School of Master Craftsmanship
Graduating students will receive an invitation to a special information meeting closer to the date. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Teams on Tuesday, May 12th.
